I spent forever looking for the perfect nude lipstick for myself. I finally found it with Smashbox lipstick in Flawless. I need to buy more, went to look for it, and can't find it anywhere. I am so upset if I really can't buy replace it. I feel like companies should send out warning letters when this stuff happens so that us poor souls can buy ample supply to stash away for future use.

Any suggestions on where I could maybe look? Or dupes? Or just words of words of condolence?

I know. I already tried all the Internet options, including eBay. I just emailed the company. Maybe they'll have some super secret stash that they're willing to share. Or let me know they're releasing the color in the next collection. One can hope, right?

So they did get back to me. Nope, I'm totally out of luck. The (new) shades they recommended I haven't tried yet, but I am fairly certain that they won't be as awesome. Yup, totally should have stock-piled. Damn you, Smashbox, for not alerting the public that you would be discontinuing.

Hmm, online pictures show that they might be a good match. I'm going to ask my friend who is a MAC MUA. Hopefully, there is something out there that can meet the expectations. I really think it's both the formula and the shade that I love. Most nudes are too beige/yellow for me.

Yes I do wear that also. It is a bit different on me. Dolce Vita is more pink on me.

Clinique did this to me with a lipstick about 10yrs ago, the color was called Extra Fizzy. I freaked out when it was discontinued and called every Clinique counter in Houston to buy up the remaining inventory. I only got 6 tubes.
