I use Jane Iredale powder foundation. I love it. I've been noticing, however, that I've been getting super shiny fairly early in the day. I know a lot of you use a finishing powder (like Mineral Veil maybe?) or a shine control product. I do have blotting papers, but thought maybe something to prevent shine would be good too. Would love to hear more about what you are using and your suggestions.

I had Jane Iredale makeup in a wedding I was in last year. That was my first experience with makeup setting sprays. I know she makes one because the MUA used it and my makeup lasted all day with just a few powder touchups prior to pictures. I have SUPER oily skin and I perspire in the summer. I got a sample of the Urban Decay Deslick and it's awesome at keeping shine at bay and setting makeup without being overly powdery. I would also recommend using a primer. I use the oil control one from Sephora but Bare Minerals also makes one.
Carrots will have some good oil control suggestions. She is liking Clinique's Stay Matte foundation and raves about Murad's oil control mattifier. I'm not sure what kind of powder she uses.

I have a really oily T-zone and wear Chanel's Double Perfection powder (wet). During the day, just blotting with a simple tissue works, but if I'm really trying to head off shine, I also use a primer (UD or Sephora brand) and UD's "All Nighter" spray. That shit is miraculous.
