I couldn't read the whole thing because it was rambly, but it sounds off. I didn't think CPS would take your kid for possession of pot. Right?

From what I remember, they can but only if its like your 3rd offense or some states.

I think the kid got taken away because she was there when the arrest happened. BUT if that is the case then the child should have been given back to the parents if found not guilty.

I've never read their blog before, but wtf kind of name is Checkers? It makes me think of a clown.... and yes, it looks like they are getting their baby back soon.

Allow me to translate. They were giving two friends a ride back from Mt. Shasta. The friends had weed and she knew it. Checkers and the friends were smoking a joint when police came by the car. Sunny was not in a car seat, nor was there a car seat in the car. CPS will give them Sunny back if they go through parenting classes but Kayla and Checkers don't have family in Oregon and it was just too hard to make all the court dates and attend the classes. And plus also, even though Kayla knew there was weed in the car and Checkers was smoking it, she has watched a lot of Law and Order and the cops can't PROVE she knew because how could they KNOW what she was thinking? She knows her rights y'all.

Oh, and she has this friend whose baby mama smokes meth and the cops didn't take the baby from the meth baby mama and everyone KNOWS weed isn't as bad as meth so how can Kayla lose her baby when meth baby mama hasn't lost hers?

I feel sorry for the baby. The parents are idiots.
