We moved over there, since it was dead and our board was unusable. Some Pampers snark occured, but mostly it was the same old meaningless bullshit we always post about. Then BumpKathleen came on and said that she UNDERSTANDS it may take some time to get USED to the new format, but we were "ruining the experience for the Regular Connect With Pampers Posters who have Legitimate Questions".
Then everyone started posting bullshit Pampers questions. Then I HELPFULLY posted the Pampers customer service link, and my posts got deleted twice. So then I made a Heather+At+Pampers AE, and SCOTTY BELIEVED IT WAS REALLY HER. Then things started getting deleted left and right, someone got banned for posting "I like the smell of Pampers" and SOMEONE might have had a bra burning moment and starting posting pictures of elephantitus everywhere.
Then we were clued in to this board, and Elle became our own BumpKathleen (and it was the most awesome thing ever), and then there was a different HeatherAtPampers on here, and Casey Anthony was just hanging out in the chat room by herself. Then the real BumpKathleen posted a rude post in the mod board about SHUTTING DOWN ANY AND ALL PROBOARDS LINKS! Pixy Stix showed us all and it all got deleted.
Then Elle made a kickass revision to the Knot's Wikipedia entry, and although 50 of us gave it 5 stars, the Nest kept deleting it, and then she'd repost it, and after a day of this the Wikipedia editors came over to yell at us. Then Nest Michelle posted a huge long thing saying that they used a 3rd party vendor, who SUCKS and has always SUCKED, and has been attempting to fix the local boards for MONTHS, but they promised us that if we switched the national boards, it would work and they are LYING LIARS, you guys, but we're going to put their nose to the grindstone and figure out how to let you guys sort by last reply!! And then sonrisa made a killah response and everyone cried.
OH I FORGOT ABOUT LTP. She wrote a song called The Day The Nest Died. Everyone cried. Nest Michelle is trying her bestest to get us to come back. We won't go. Some finance expert wrote an article about how they may have screwed themselves. Someone made a twitter account and started tweeting about it to the newspapers and then made a Carley ProBoards name to get the word out. Everyone who retweeted it got suspended. MrsBliss's kids weren't really dead.

This is the most awesome recap ever, but I must clarify one thing. Wikipedia Cameron and Smartse (?) were not mad at US, they were mad at whomever at the nest kept revising our updates. Then we learned about sources, and truthiness, and wiki-truth and THEN they got mad when Mr. Dobalina revised one of the nest founders' names to Lord Vader.

the Pampers takeover and ensuing hilarity were some of the finest work in Nest history.
