A friend's husband's colon cancer is back and the prognoses isn't good.
A student's dad has pancreatic cancer, and had more tumors show up today.
A student's grandma died yesterday very unexpectedly and grandma was the primary caretaker of the student.
My sister called me this morning. Her H hit her last night, yelled at her, hit other things etc. She is blaming his low blood sugar, but this is very different from his normal low blood sugar behavior. The really telling thing is that he remembers what he did and blames her for not dealing with him better.
This all just makes me feel so sick. I really wish I could go home and curl up with my pets, but we're short handed in the office today as it is.
I'm sorry RR. Is there any convincing your sister that this wasn't because of low blood sugar?
I really tried to. Hopefully she will think about it and come to the same conclusion. I have to be careful about pushing her too much, or she will stop talking to me.

Hugs. You are doing all the right things. For your sister, there is nothing more you can do tell her she is not responsible for his behavior, isn't causing it, and that you love her and will be there for her. For all of that, wow! That's awful.

Wow. I hope she comes around and that she understands you are there to support her. Good luck to both of you.
