I ended up with an irritating night last night. Seriously, who vandalizes someone elses property and takes stuff that doesn't belong to them?!
On a brighter note, yesterday was healthy. I opted out for going out to dinner, made some home made veggie pizza and went for a long walk. I did see a really cool owl on our walk.
i had a good day yesterday. a friend of mine came over with her son, bf, and another friend. it was supposed to be just me and her, but her dates got switched with baby-daddy so she brought son..then bf didn't have to work, then friend saw they were all coming over and wanted to come too..so we ended with a mini dinner party.
i wore (tried on) my dress that i bought this weekend, and wore uw's shoes with them. my friend says they don't match....i'll post a pic later and you can tell me . i agree, sorta, i'm just heart broken.
mom is watching bjl this morning/today...we didn't really talk..just the necessary stuff "here are her bottles"... ugh. i hate being in this mood with my mother.
Um last night I had wine as an appetizer because I had nothing to snack on and I ate like it was going out of style. So I guess I failed.
But tonight it's on - need to do cardio!!
Since I'm new I'll share my goals- we took a wellness test at work and I was scared to death about my cholesterol. It was high then good then back to high and it had been a couple years since I checked on it. Well last week's results were borderline high, which to me was good news. But I want to lower it to normal. Last time I did it, it was thru cardio and oatmeal. So I'm back to that again. Failed miserably yesterday, but will start fresh today!
i'm so exhausted, i flew in at almost midnight last night and i got up for work at 430.. and went back to sleep until 5. got to work at 6.. lol. my eyes are still burning. i have a first meet and greet at a different potential second job today.. i'm excited.
anyway, i made SHITTY decisions while on vacation, i'm not going to weigh myself until next week. i have gym clothes so i can hit the gym after work. water and lots of tea today. i hope to also be in bed by 7pm. lol. i'm exhausted.
Jenn, sorry about the tension with your mom. Knowing how close you two are, that's a tough thing to deal with.
Yesterday was pretty ok - my wrist is still bugging me so I skipped spin class, not wanting to put pressure on my wrist with the bike handle bars. I went for a run and did some speedwork, so at least got a workout in. Today is more of the same. I need to start getting organized to go camping this weekend too.
Went to a track workout last night. Running and I do not get along. I wish it were easier!!
This morning I'm meeting a friend for a 90 minute bike ride, then going to Anthony's with my mom, then picking up SS and taking him to baseball practice. A nice and busy day today!
Love the dress, and I think red pumps would be perfect. I had an awesome day health wise yesterday and weighed in another pound lower this am. 2.8 pounds away from 160!!! So close to this evil evil plateau. I'm at the gym right now doing cardio lol.

Good morning,
So last night I woke up to go to the bathroom at about 3 am. Instead of walking though the door to the bathroom I banged straight on into the wall. I now have a big read mark on my nose from it. At least I didn't get a bloody nose. I contiplated it being a sign from the universe to stay in bed today, but alas I got up to go to crossfit and work. Let's hope it was just a wierd thing and today will be a quick and easy day. Tomorrow is my day off with BKB! I can't wait.
Good morning! I'm in an emo mood today, and am contemplating taking a "sick" day tomorrow or Friday. Since the weight-loss challenge started my M-F's have been nothing but work, getting home, eating a small snack, workout, dinner, shower, bed. My apartment is a horrible mess, and I feel like I'm neglecting my furbaby and H My weekends are so jam-packed until the first Husky Bi-week (9/22), so I can't really makeup for my slack during the work week.
I've been totally slacking on healthy habits etc this week. Ugh. I've gotta get back on track. After happy hour tonight...
So happy the sun is back out. I'm wearing a maxi dress today, which is a tad too long with the flats I have on, but it was too short with heels. So I keep stepping on it. This should be interesting today. Guess I'll just have to buy new shoes to wear with it.
Good morning! It was a long night here. E fell and cut his nose on one of his toys last night.
Then about 2:30 E woke up screaming so I did the usual thing of moving him into bed with me. That worked for an hour and then the screaming was back. He didn't want a bottle and really didn't want to be held by me at all. I asked my H if he could take a lunch and come home and help. As soon as he got home and picked E up E was fine. H laid down and E fell asleep and then when he tried to roll him onto the bed E started screaming again. So I tried to pick him up and that made it worse and I started bawling.
So H took E out to the living room and got him to eat a small bottle with some Tylenol in it. Then brought him back to bed and he slept until 8:30.
It's a gorgeous day out so we are going to go to point no point and play at the beach later.
Weekly weigh in and I lost...0.2 pounds Oh, but I had my haircut last night that's where that probably went Granted, I'm not being AMAZING but I'm being awfully good at my food. If I'm over, it's usually by less than 100 calories. Last week, I was 569 net UNDER my weekly goal! SO WTF?! I know I know, y'all are going to say to get exercise, but I've also been feeling so crummy lately (headaches, etc) that at least food goal should be working!
Yesterday I went to Ballard after work to go see this "studio sofa" a woman was selling. I've been wanting this piece of furniture from World Market for ages and her price was SUPER cheap. Well, I gave her $80 to hold it until the weekend when I could pick it up, but now I'm kind of regretting it. Oh my gosh, while waiting for my haircut, I grabbed food at King's...and they have lavender bitters that are sooooo good! So now I have to buy some!
Work is oddly slow again. Slept like crap last night. Woke up at 2am and was mostly awake through 3:30-4, then had really bad dreams and woke up with my hip KILLING me and the opposite shoulder hurting! WTH, I'm only 32. This sucks.
