I was ok with the ending, I guess, but surprised that she actually killed the Desi guy. I didn't like her, but was amused by her antics until she actually murdered someone.
I read that Reese Witherspoon bought the rights for the movie and will be playing Amy. I don't know how much truth there is to that, but I hope she doesn't play Amy. I just can't with that. No.
Really, I think she will be great at Amy. Have you seen Election? That character reminds me a little of Amy.
Agree completely. I think she would make a great Amy. Excited for the movie!

I liked it a lot. I found her plot and pacing really interesting and she developed the characters well. I think she could have toned down a bit of the dramatics to make it more interesting and I really thought at least he would have some redemption by the ending. I thought it was a cheap ending.
I really liked the book, then one night before bed I was all like "she's totally not dead" and then I was angry the next day because she totally wasn't dead and I was like "this is what the twist was? Dumb." But the way the second half was written won me back. It paced well and kept me interested. I didn't even mind the ending, even if I did roll my eyes a lot.

I agree with you on the first part. The second part didn't do much for me. I was also really mad at myself for trying to figure out what the capitalized words in the notes she left him meant, and was annoyed when those ended up to not be a clue.
I think I would have liked it better if I had gone into reading it without knowing that there was a twist in the middle.
