Hey! Fuckin' assholes who can't drop it -- if you know the circumstances and you're still going to stand by your shitslice behavior, you're all trollops, ya trolls. Suck on a crotch sandwich.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH I'm going to make this into a fortune cookie saying and GET FREAKING FAMOUS.
Speaking as a grandmother and mother of adult kids, if one was in a situation such as JLM found herself, you can damn well bet I'd be helping out as much as I could. When my ex was disabled, and there was a point where I did have to leave him (he choked me until I blacked out) my brother and his wife took me and all our children in for as long as it took for us to get back on our feet. When it came down to it, my sister brought us food because the government was not providing his pension and we couldn't afford to eat and pay rent. I wouldn't have made it if my family hadn't been there for me.
I'm actually in a situation where my daughter is unable to properly parent her children and they live with me. No way in hell I'd put them at risk and I do everything I can to give them the best life possible. My older one today asked "Grandma, why do you buy us so much stuff?" BECAUSE I CAN! Because she's my granddaughter and I love her to pieces. My daughter is probably going to have her parental rights terminated for her younger daughter and it breaks my heart. I'm doing everything I can to see that doesn't happen and she has a chance to get her back someday. We've done everything we could to help get her on the right track but sometimes even with a village, it doesn't quite come out right. JLM is damn lucky that her parents are there for her and willing and able to help her. There actually are parents out there who do stuff like that for their kids. Shocking, I know, but there you have it.
JLM, I think $300 is more than fair for an overnight.
(edited because I see JLM quoted me. Original is below. lol.)
