Definitely one of my all time favorite Christmas gifts. I haven't picked up a reusable filter cup yet because I have been using the sample pack that came with it, but I plan to do that this weekend.
The only downside is that I have been drinking a little more coffee than normal because it is so fun.
Also, it is bright green and I love looking at it.
when I first got my Keurig, my coffee consumption definitely went way up. The ekobrews are the best reusable cups, I think. I mostly use my Keurig for hot water for making tea now though. I love it!

I got a Keurig last year for Christmas and OMG. It was seriously the best thing ever. I kept drinking SO much coffee.
Now I have some awesome hot chocolate kcups and some good decaf coffees so that I don't get jittery from excess caffeine when I want to play with the Keurig.

That is the one I was just looking at online, good to know that it works well.

doc, you can sort of rig an used regular k-cup with ground coffee until you get a reusable cup, i do it often. you just peel the foil lid off, dump all the grounds out (don't tear the filter). fill with ground coffee up to just a couple mm below the top, and put 2 layers of press and seal across the top. then you just have to line the hole in the bottom of the k-cup from the first use up with the machine and ta-da.
i know that sounds complicated but it really takes me about 10 seconds haha
I've had mine for a year, but my BIL broke the top off of the orignal one. It was just the hinge, so it is usable. I'd get the 3 pack if anyone in your house is a little rough on things.

what kind of coffee do you guys use? or which k cups? i have not been loving ours. H does, but I can't figure out the best way to do it - the coffee is always either too weak or too strong.

Bright green? I have never seen them in a color other than black! We love ours, H for the coffee and me for the hot apple cider, iced tea lemonade, and southern sweet tea.
A hint for kcups... Hold onto the Bed Bath & Beyond coupons you get in the mail every week. Even though they have an expiry date, they never actually expire. I just keep hoarding them and use then ever time I need to buy more kcups. So I usually get my kcups for 20% off.
I got one too! Love it and so pleased I got it since I've been coveting it for about 2 years. I got a 48 box of cups at Bed Bath & Beyond for about $28 with the 20% off coupon.

I've been using the one my mom just bought while we're visiting. I love all the different types of drinks. I miss my Nespresso machine back home. The Keuring is fun, but Nespresso coffee tastes the best.
