She is so cute! I keep saying I 'll never do the puppy thing again but seeing pics of them makes me forget what a pain mine was as a puppy. I'm going to end up like that chick on Bridesmaids and get like 9...lol. hope the transition goes smoothly. Please post more pics!
I think you probably have a thing for goldens (based on the post) but I was wondering if you went to a breeder?
Yes, we did. All our dogs are related. Doggie D and my parents' dog are 1/2 brothers, and both of them are great uncles (or something) to the puppies.
We tried to adopt a 1 year old in Oct, but we ran into personality issues between the new dog and Doggie D's brother. That's harder to address than if they'd been with Doggie D b/c all 4 are only together 1-2 weekends a month. They recommended that we go the puppy route instead since puppies are easier to introduce into an existing pack.
This post makes me happy. We currently have two goldens, the first we got as a puppy and the second at 18 months. They did not care for each other at first and out first one was always jealous (he still sort of is), but now they can't be without the other and are starting to play, though not full on in love with the other yet. I love love love goldens! Our first puppy was pain and I did not want to go through that again, but maybe when the kids are older we will get another golden puppy.
