I have 2 days off for the first time in 3 months. It's pretty exciting.C is taking a nap and I thought I would come here and post something awesome and interesting, but I can't think of anything. So, hey everyone. That' s all I got.
That IS exciting! Two days in a row off in retail is the awesomest.
I hope you and C have lots of fun together.
I am having a boring morning at work. I just spent 45 minutes on hold with my husband's insurance company to ask a question about pregnancy + out of country coverage (do you believe I am 21 weeks pregnant today?). GLAMOUROUS.

Hi!!!
I'm glad to see you made it through the holiday craziness ok.
My life is pretty boring. I have a bladder infection (ouch!!) and Hunter puked a couple times last night. My antibiotic makes me nauseous, and stripping his bed that was covered in little bits of angel hair pasta was awful (sorry for the TMI grossness!) At least Amelia got to sleep last night. Oh, and Hunter did puke on the toilet for the first time last night- at least that was a success. Unfortunately this was after he got his bed and our bed
Joolz- being on hold sucks. We need pregnant pictures!
Sometimes doing nothing is the most exciting thing to do. Hope you enjoy your time off, meaty! And joolz, where are you going? That's crazy that you're over halfway already!

Aw, poor Hunter. I hope he feels better soon! When J was little he barfed pasta and shrimp on me once. Grossiest thing ever!Class, you're right. Doing nothing is pretty exciting.
And joolz, where are you going? That's crazy that you're over halfway already!
We are going to Maui! My mom rented a house for my entire family for 10 days in February. It is going to be absolute bedlam and I am already sad I can't get drunk. But oh well!

Confession: I was upset at the timing of Hunter's puking, because I was watching Island Hunters on HGTV, and missed which island the couple bought. Clearly my priorities are misplaced, LOL. Couldn't he have puked 5 minutes later?
Joolz you are so adorable! I have no bump pictures, because I can't find the right angle on my bedroom mirror. I will try harder tonight, because I do look super pregnant (but not nearly as cute as joolz with her sassy bangs)

Whatevers, Nanda, I bet you look adorable too. I want to see that bump!! I don't want to be pregnant right now, but I do miss having a cute bump instead of a gut.

Yesssss! I'll come to Vancouver and stow away in your bags.
We only have DVR in the living room. It was almost midnight, so I was watching tv in bed. We're too cheap to spring for the extra $10/mo for the extra box, LOL. I should google and find out which island they chose

Hi Meaty! We have missed you while you were working so much. How is the new job going?
I'm boring too. My new bosses are gleefully saddling me with all the lame tasks they don't want to do. Luckily, I'm fresh and new and eager. But still, I spent all day transferring some government agency's FAQ's to their new website in English and Spanish.

I missed that you had a new job Camel, congratulations! I am having a rough time transitioning. I have yet to get my codes, keys, and email I need to do my job correctly and I don' t have the ability to get them myself. I need to shadow and train, but no one is willing to take the time. I feel like they just expect me to know everything and I don't. I have been very vocal about that the sink or swim method I feel they are using and then get promised that I will get help, but then never do. No wonder the turn over rate is so high for the job. I think basically, none of the other managers want to do and just think I will figure if out eventually.

That sucks, meaty! Hopefully you will get some support soon. It is very humbling being new at a job. I don't like the feeling of not knowing what I'm doing. It is very busy right now at my work so I feel like I should do something but I have no idea what to do and no one has any time to spend with me. It's awkward.
