I might be neurotic or over protective or something but I just put a call in to E's hematologist.
Evan has strep throat is pretty swollen on the left side of his face and will wake up intermittently crying out in pain. I keep asking where it hurt and he says his tooth (he is also working on a new molar).
Well, I started feeling concerned when I would touch his cheek and the neck around his glands and he'd wince and scream in pain. I know throat bleeds are a huge concern re: staying alive, so I wanted to look at signs of bleeds there. And apparently throat bleeds are common in hemophiliacs with strep throat.
So I am feeling scared and worried.
And the dr just called and told me to give factor and then take him straight to the ER.
It's all "holy shit miracle baby insults to tamb theft accusations deactivation" and you're off to the side in the overstuffed easy chair like a half-deaf grandma like "And another thing! I don't even like artichokes on my pizza but Billy is always ordering them! I want someone else to take responsibility for toppings!"

Hope E feels better! You are a great mom and know if your kids need something. Don't let feeling bad deter you. Take E, if your intuition is right then there is help if not then there is nothing wrong. Win win
