so i'm way-way-way-way late on this, but i still wanted to tell you how we felt about this.

we discussed this before we got married--having kids is super important to both of us. we decided that no, we wouldn't get a divorce if we couldn't have kids. and for personal reasons, we decided we wouldn't do fertility treatments...if we couldn't have kids, we'd go straight to adopting. we have nothing against adopting..some of our best friends are adopted (love you picks!) and we know that there's absolutely nothing wrong with being adopted..it just makes parents love them more, if anything. you can't have an unplanned/unexpected/oops adoption.
