I know this is a petty vent. But it drives me NUTS.
It's a 30s-ish couple. They have 1 child - a 2 year old. At any given time, there are 2 cars in their driveway and at least 2-3 more on the street. They park their giant truck RIGHT NEXT to the end of our driveway.
We live on the end of a dead end, so because they have so many DAMN cars, it's hard to maneuver down the street from our house. Or out of our driveway. I get the feelings the other neighbors are annoyed by all the cars. One of the other dads commented how they're always blocking the basketball hoop with their car fleet.
Oh, ALSO, they have a web business so their a/c is going year-round to cool their servers, I guess. That m-fer is loud when it turns on.
I bet your city has a parking enforcement division that will come and ticket the hell out of those cars if they're parking on the street for longer than a certain amount of time. Here it's 48 hours.

I looked into this when we lived into downtown Sacramento. We had one parking spot and two cars, so one car had to be parked on a street where a ton of other people also had to park on the street and people would park there to take the bus further downtown to work. The people that lived across the road would park their huge RV on the road for a month at a time and would put garbage cans and cones out so that people couldn't park on the corner by their house. I moved the cones a few times, bc who do they think they are. I finally got fed up and called parking enforcement and they came out and left a notice that the RV had to be moved. The a holes finally moved it like an hour before parking enforcement was going to come ticket or put a boot on. Sorry for the lengthy rely - I hate inconsiderate parkers.

Oh, they're never parked in the same place. They drive them all pretty much every day. Or someone does. It wouldn't bother me so much if we had any space to park a car in front of our house. But there is no room. It's just a park, and a park across the street. You just have to park in our driveway if you come to visit. Remember this, everyone when you're coming over for Bernadine's Divorce Party. Maybe we can TP the neighbors.
what jerks. my parents had neighbors like this and the whole neighborhood hated them and one time i think "accidentally" their flyer for the 4th of july block party went missing and they weren't invited. it wasn't my mom in charge of them, but she was glad that it happened.

if i lived in your house, i'd make my husband insane with the speculation of how they can afford the cars, what they use them for, were they raised in barns or by wolves, how much do they pay in insurance, have they SEEN an inconvenient truth already?, do they fly places ever or just drive since they love it so much, etc.
i already do this about my other neighbors, who have different weird peccadillos.
I would be all about making up the backstories, too, cville. My neighbors are the most interesting fuckers everrrr, according to me!
my husband would pay anyone nearly any amount of money to get me to shut up about the bowl of wooden fruit in the middle of my neighbors' dining room table. it changes seasonally! it's oranges now! and i know they aren't real because the apples (early fall) are especially fake looking!

Oh well that's just shitty and inconsiderate of them then. You could still check with the city about what regulations they have for that sort of thing. There might be something.
DH was gifted a few cars that he will never get rid of which makes our car count to 5 (my car, his truck, a racecar, and two antique cars) we have backyard access so he built a carport back there and all the cars are not visible on the street other then the two daily drivers in our driveway.
DH knew that if he made a mess of the front of the house I would be upset so he hides all the cars.
That would bug me, I don't like when people I don't know park their cars in front of my house. In our city if a car hasn't been moved in 3 days it is ticketed.
Ooh, this would drive me insane. When we were living at our old house we had neighbors with what seemed like 1000 cars. There were like 6 or 7 of them living in a 2 bedroom house and they all had their own vehicle. One guy even had 2. Then they would throw parties, and hoo boy, good luck getting down the road without nearly scraping another vehicle. Asswipes.
My across-the-street neighbors have been pissing me off with the same shit for the past month. The guy's mother (I think it's his mother?) comes to visit around Thanksgiving every year and doesn't leave until winter is over. She drives this big ginormous pickup truck and it stays parked in front of our house, with the front of the car also right next to where our driveway begins. Last week, DH went outside to put the trash cans out to the curb and we had nowhere to put them, the damn truck was blocking the place we are supposed to put them (we can't put them on the other side because our mailbox is there, and our carrier won't deliver the mail if trash cans are blocking the mailbox). Super annoying.
I live in a HOA neighborhood, but so long as it isn't a commercial vehicle and is properly registered, it can be street parked. My across the cul de sac neighbors have 5 adult kids, at one time all were living at home- 3 with SOs as well. Mom has a minivan, dad an SUV (they car camp) and each of the 8 "kids" had a car of some kind coming and going through the day/night. It was like a used car lot over there. I landscaped to block the view from my dining room because it was sort of ugly.
I have 4 cars- 2 drives and one learning. DS's MGB is in the garage, the 3 registered are in the driveway. My other neighbor's mom typically parks her Mercedes in from on my house. I've given up caring. If I need to, I park in front of hers.
My whole neighborhood is like this. We live in an 1950's duplex and the homes didn't have driveways originally. Most owners have put them in but we don't have one (the rest of the people at our end of the street do.) We live on a dead end and only have 2 cars. Our neighbors who have driveways constantly park their extras in front of our house. Like they have 3 in the driveway and 2 on the street. Maybe it's just me but if I knew my neighbor didn't have a driveway I'd at least try to leave the small space in front of their home open. Whenever we have guests they have to park up the street and walk.

I drive my husband nuts, absolutely nuts, about how upset I am that 1. Our immediate neighbor never mows his lawn, unless they host a party. Then he mows the lawn DURING the party. 2. Down the street lives an older gentleman. His house is falling down. He has teenaged grandkids and adult kids (I'm assuming) over to his house a lot, swimming in his pool, and they can't help him clean the house up.
I go on rants. My H just tunes me out.
OP, check your zoning laws. Most have parking regulations written in them. Many only have to accomodate for one off street parking spot, but some limit the amount of cars you are able to park on the street. It is worth a check.

I had a neighbor who seemed to collect old utility trucks..(like the kid the electric company drives?) and he was at war with the mexican restaurant down the street, because he did not want their customers parking on our street! (WELL when you live in the city, that's what you GET!) so he parked a BOAT in front of his house, and lined the rest of the street with broke down utility trucks ( 3)and his regular pickup truck, and his regular car....and one day when I was walking home from the next block over because there was nowhere to park- schlepping a baby, and as many bags of groceries as I could handle- the fucker had the nerve to say - oh! you had to park down the street because of those assholes, huh? what do they think this is?! a parking lot?! and I snapped back " I don't know, but it sure isn't a MARINA!!!!!" and stomped past. oooh- I still hate him.

Our neighbors have 5 cars that never move, except to drive 200 ft down the street to the mailbox. But, they just mash all the cars on front of their house. 2 in driveway, 2 on either side, and one directly behind the driveway blocking the others in.
