What did I do wrong?

I did the global account creation (with the blue and orange login boxes) a few days ago.  I thought I set it up for rubytue to be my name, but now it says I have to create a name for this forum.  Ok. fine.  I picked rubytue (thinking maybe I stopped a step short).  But that name is take (by ME!)

I know I did the global account part right, b/c the account existed and let me log in.  And I was posting from the app earlier today.  Now I'm on the computer.

How do I get my name back?!

Oh hey. I figured it out. Somehow. I went around in circles a few times, eventually got to a page where I could select "Ruby2" or "Guest" and then there was a link to "link this to another account" (or something). The next login screen looked the same (orange and blue boxes), but this time I had to put rubytue in for the usename, NOT [e-mail] (which is how you login to the global account).
