SQUIGGLE FACE! :y:
i think it's neat if, for example, you had to have an indoor party due to weather or whatever and it wasn't really feasible to have kids swing a bat around.

All the parties I have been to in the past few years seem to have super strength pinatas that have required parents or teenagers to finally beat open. I think the balloons could be fun for the little ones but NO confetti! That stuff is a pain to clean up.

i can remember maybe my 4th or 5th birthday, my mom put prizes in balloons like this, but we all had to sit on them to get them to pop and it was hilarious.

If your pinata is particularly difficult to bludgeon open, then you take a big chef's knife and make repeated stabbing motions all over the surface of the pinata and that sucker will split open like a rotten tomato.
Preferably out of the view of the children, lest they want to join in or are traumatized at the sight of you eviscerating Hello Kitty's face.
