on a regular or somewhat regular basis?
Pulls out your chair for you? Help you remove or put on your coat/jacket? Offer you his arm when walking? Offer you his hand when you have to climb up/down steps? (Outside steps, not in the house) If you were on a crowded bus/train/subway, would he offer his seat to an elderly or visibly pregnant woman? If you smoke, does he offer to light your cancer stick cigarette?

He also opens car doors and other doors for me on a regular basis. ;-) ETA: LOL, I didn't even see the car door post before I answered this one. I was wondering why that seemed conspicuously absent.
Yes to all except the smoking; we don't smoke. He'll pull out my chair in a fancy place, but in general he doesn't. But I'll mark it as yes because he has been known to do it.
If you were on a crowded bus/train/subway, would he offer his seat to an elderly or visibly pregnant woman?
Just this one. To be honest, when we're wrangling a four year old (and soon a newborn), most of these just aren't practical. He's too busy helping her with her coat and down the stairs.
Offer you his hand when you have to climb up/down steps? (Outside steps, not in the house) Yes
If you were on a crowded bus/train/subway, would he offer his seat to an elderly or visibly pregnant woman? Yes
If you smoke, does he offer to light your cancer stick cigarette? Don't smoke, but he does take the bottle cap off my beer when I have one...so, maybe the chivalry is not completely dead?
Pulls out your chair for you? Only at a fancy restaurant Help you remove or put on your coat/jacket? Sometimes Offer you his arm when walking? Usually, or hand. Offer you his hand when you have to climb up/down steps? (Outside steps, not in the house) Hmmmm, he offers his hand when I get up, not sure about stairs. If you were on a crowded bus/train/subway, would he offer his seat to an elderly or visibly pregnant woman? Absolutely! If you smoke, does he offer to light your cancer stick cigarette? When we smoked, sometimes.
H is chivalrous. It's part of why I love him. People always said "oh, he'll change after you're dating past six months/engaged/married/etc., but after 10 years, he still does this stuff and I love it.

With the exception of offering up his seat, DH only does those things when he is trying to be romantic or if I'm sick. He is really good about consistently giving up his seat to anybody that looks like they could use it.

I feel awful for him because this doesn't make H sound as chivalrous and awesome as he really is! If I asked for help he would be there in an instant. He does other endearing things like genuinely asks me how I slept each morning, he happily puts my socks on for me once I'm in bed and decide my toes are cold, does more than his fair share around the house, etc.
