Lol. I need to guys to keep my calendar straight, apparently.
Will someone go to the post office for me today? I really dread it.
You know I will, Muddled!
Actually that one super-nice lady at my P.O. (i.e. the nicest one of all the nice ones) has been transferred to another branch nearby. The neighborhood listserv was pretty sad about it.
My contribution for the day is, IMO if you have to ask someone two weeks after the fact what they gave your daughter for her birthday so they can send you a thank-you note, you probably should not bother writing a thank-you note.
Last night is the first night I actually slept pretty decently on the new bed. I also had a dream about having a baby girl w/ DH and I have to admit the dream was so sweet that I really didn't want to wake up.
There have been a ridiculous amount of car alarms since about 10PM last night. I'm pretty sure I fell asleep thinking about slashing tires. Make it stoooooooop!!!!

That's so sweet, doglove. Are there any baby plans in the future? (I'm so sorry! I know you are a newlywed and it's taboo to ask, but now I'm curious!)
I started looking for a job again this weekend and I'm already discouraged. The jobs around here require 10 years experience and other qualifications that no one but maybe three people in the whole world can meet. Unless I want to take advantage of Hurricane/Superstorm Sandy and move to Long Island.

NO, no babies anytime soon. It was a very sweet dream though.

Enjoy it now, because apparently when you actually are pregnant all you dream about is giving birth to kittens and baby monkeys.

My grocery store is closing for renovations. For 2 months. This means I have to drive an extra 10 minutes to get to the next closest store. FWP for sure.

You can come visit meeeee. I have 4 grocery stores, 2 targets and a BJs all within a 5 mile radius!
Plus Mr. DL said there was room on the bed for 3 people.

Haha! I'm tempted
Confession: there is another grocery store that is 2 minutes from my house but I'm a grocery store snob and refuse to shop there.

Talked to the vet last night, it's not good. He said if it's the stones in her kidneys, our only real option for treatment would be to take her to the Vet school in Columbus to have them broken up by ultrasound. But, if she's got a blockage there is no treatment because we're courting renal failure. Given her output vs her input and her recent change in grooming behavior, we're thinking she's blocked somewhere in or near her kidney.
I petted her last night and when I scratched her on her left side (the side that was matted on Sunday), she bit me in the "b*tch don't ever touch me there again" way not her "I love you, let me nibble you" way. That pretty much cemented it for us. I called the vet and I am taking her in tonight be euthanized. We'll bring her home and bury out back next to her brother.
This sucks, but she's hurting and we can't justify letting her linger if there's no solid treatment.

But then it's going to be so fucking awesome and you won't want to hurt people every time you do your grocery shopping.

I feel "off" today. Not sick, just not normal... I'm not sure what's going on with me. I just want to go home and lay around in my pj's and stuff my face with junk.
On the plus side, after the lipgloss incident yesterday morning, I cleaned all of my make up brushes last night and today my make up looks really good!

Where I live, I'd have to drive a good 30 minutes to go to a GOOD grocery store. Stupid Oklahoma. My choices are: Walmart and Homeland for a 5ish minute drive, Super target 15 minutes away, or drive up to OKC. There is some hippy store too (like Sunflower market or some shit), but it's TINY. TINY! LAAAAAAAME!
