And for once Jake said he liked it longer, looks-wise. He's been joking since we started dating that I should chop it all off b/c it gets in the way, lol.

I prefer whichever I don't have.
I had long hair for forever and cut it last spring. Now I'm painfully trying to grow it back out b/c I miss it. But give me a year or two with it long and I'll be bitching about how it doesn't do anything and it takes to long to dry, etc.

I use to love my hair short, but I grew it out over the last year or so and I really love it long. I don't think I will go back to short hair again. I think my long hair suits me better.

Overall I think I prefer short hair.
I had really short hair (see avatar) for four years and then started growing it out about a year ago. I LOVED having short hair, it was quick to style and I felt like I always looked put together, but I missed having a pony tail. I finally can kind of sort of put my hair up and it's awesome.
I don't know. I had it short for so long, and loved it. It was so easy to manage and cute/hip. Now I got to the point where I find that short hair ages me, and that I need to work on looking younger, so I am growing it out, lol. It is more of a PITA, although there are more quick fixes like ponytails and headbands. But short is so much easier!

Long for me. I had short hair for 9 years and I didn't realize how much I missed being able to throw it up in a ponytail. I'm sticking with long for a while.
Mine is better long. The texture is weird (some is super wavy and some is super straight), plus it's really thick and hard to style. When it's long, I have it layered and that helps it have some life (it's still not great) and I can wear it down. When it's short, I just look like Gene Simmons--especially in the summer.

I loved my long hair in HS, but a short style really does look better on me. My hair looks fuller and has more style to it when it's short and sassy. H would prefer it long, but he deals with my short cuts.

I like it better long, but I'm not sure if it looks better long, if that makes sense? I also think I would look better with bangs, because I have a fivehead, but I just am too hesitant to pull the trigger.
Short. My hair just doesn't work with me when it's long. It's fine, but there's a lot of it, so when it's long the top is super flat (think Cher in the 70s) and the bottom is just a tangled mess. That's IF I even manage to do anything besides throw it in a ponytail.
Currently, my hair is longer than it's been in 10 years and it's not even to my shoulders. I've never gone full pixie though. And probably never will. I don't have the jawline for that.
I've had both, I prefer short because it forces me to style it and styling it only takes all of 5 minutes. I think short fits my personality better than having it long.
