One. I just set up my Kindle Fire if I'm doing housework away from our living room tv, or we'll both use it in bed if we're not quite ready to fall asleep. I don't think we'll ever get another tv.
That we have floating around: Kiddo's room (not plugged in. It's an extra flat screen that was in the family room that she wants to use in her bedroom. We have to buy new furniture to make it fit first though.) Kidlet's room (kiddo's old 13" that used to be DS2's ages and ages ago. Old school tube tv that we used to have plugged in when kiddo lived here before.)
One, in the living room. We technically still have our old one but it's in the basement hallway unplugged. We plan to do up the basement as a man cave/playroom and put it there.
The one in the living room is hooked up to cable and all of the gaming systems. The one in the bedroom is just hooked up to a DVD player. On nights when I'm not feeling well, the distraction of a movie helps me fall asleep.
Technically 8 but one is still in the box and one is never used but kept in the guest bedroom because it has a vcr attached to it. The only ones that are used routinely are the family and living room. The others can go weeks without being turned on but it is nice knowing that they are available.

8?! Nice knowing they are available? what rooms are they in? Are you concerned that there won't be a TV available and fear the worst?

This is so interesting to me, 8 TVs!
1. Family room - used to tape our DVR shows 2. living room 3. dining room - DH likes to watch the news over dinner and it is nice when I'm working at the dining room table 4. our bedroom - rarely used 5. DD's bedroom - only used once in a blue moon 6. DS's bedroom (t.v. is still in the box but in his closet yet to be put up) 7. Basement - not hooked up to cable; only used to watch DVR's while exercising) 8. Guest bedroom - never used but kept as it has a vcr attached to it for now at least
