DD is a chatter box (but not a mover). She says hi, bo (dog is bode), mama, dada with purpose. She babbles constantly and says yeah all the time which has made me realize how often I say yeah. She tries to imitate everything, especially beginning sounds but most of the words she tries imitates aren't with meaning.
G babbles A LOT...mamamama dadadada babababa and other repetitive syllables. But I'm not sure how much, if any, is with purpose. A few weeks ago I was pretty convinced some of the mamamas and dadadadas were purposeful. Like when she was hungry and I really had to pee she was angrily crying MAMAMAMAMA after me from her Daddy's shoulder. But now I'm not so sure since she babbles those 3 "words" interchangeably all the time.
Ansley say mama and dada. I think only dada has purpose though. She only uses it when he's around. He'll come in the door and she'll whisper "dada" and then get all excited. Then she has duh, which we think is dog. She has also started saying "Whasah" ALL.THE.TIME when showing us something. In my mind, it's her saying what's that? because I don't enunciate well when I ask her that question and it usually comes out "Wass sat? Of course. This is probably in my head, but when she says it, I answer her like she's asking that question. She also does a lot of babbling and singing.
