J does this too, but his favorite way is to sit up, then just fall forward. It looks so uncomfy I always move him. I think the butt up is a tummy/fetal combo, so they probably love it.
Cam just started doing this. He also tucks his arms under him and into his 'lap', so he's all curled up. I think he must feel secure or something and it helps him sleep soundly!

J sleeps like that too. It's how he's earned the nickname "Tush Tush" - bc he always has his tush in the air.
My brother slept like that until he was like 6 or something. I remember walking into his room sometimes in the morning to help my mom get him up (he was a beast in the morning) and finding him like that
J sleeps like this every night, and I agree, it is adorable! I tried it, and it's not very comfortable to me. lol. Although once when I was pg, I accidentally fell asleep on the couch in child's pose.
Part of me is laughing that you tried this and the other part of me is thinking I want to try it to see how it feels too.

Tyler loves this position. I had to go in the other night to add water to his humidifier and I spent a good 10 minutes just staring at him and trying to keep myself from patting him little butt.
Lincoln sleeps like that every night. Even if he falls asleep on me and put him into his crib asleep, the first thing he does is scrunch up into that position.
