In May, I'm running in the Doughman which is a 4 man relay team. The idea is that you eat a meal first and then complete your leg. Once all 4 players have completed their leg, the team completes a final leg together. We need team names -- the funnier, the better. This is all about local fun and flavor -- all of the restaurants are locally owned/operated/sourced and it supports a local non-profit. People really get into it and it got huge after Man vs Food did a show on it.
We might go as the GI Doughs and our "costume" would basically just be a camo shirt. So H&F -- gimmie some ideas!!

So the restaurants are: Nosh -- local breakfast place, known for it's awesome biscuits and omlettes Dos Perros -- high end mexican food Dain's Place -- never been here, the clue was about tator tots though Rise -- awesome biscuits and donuts Dessert is 4 restaurants -- LocoPops (ice pops), Monuts (donuts), Daisy Cakes (cupcakes), Parlour (ice cream)
Restaurant Scene right now is really trending toward local, fresh ingredients -- knowing exactly where your food came from.
Team demographic -- 3 guys and me. My friend's husband's friends (got that? haha) were putting a team together. They are law students at Duke. They needed a fourth and asked me. But then, another guy dropped off the team and so my husband joined on. So we really don't know each other. The only thing I know we have in common is that we are all parents of young children (DH and I have a 3 1/2 and 2yo; one guy has a 3 1/2yo and other guy's kids are 6, 4 and 2)
I have to say, I really laughed when I read the G.I. Doughs, so I am partial to that!
I suck at team names. This year I did a halloweiner hustle (4 person relay, run your leg, chug a 32 oz beer and eat a hotdog) and the name I created for us was "the halloweiners."
