Hmmmmmmmm.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Seeing my H with little tears in his eyes as he said his vows to me was a pretty good one. And, as I think I've said before, the few minutes I had with my dad right after my defense.

My H isn't home, so he has been spared all of this.
ALSO, speaking of H, I am so happy and proud of him and his new job. He is doing so well and it is a great feeling to see him so motivated after 8 months of discouraging unemployment.
I'll never be able to smoke weed again. That makes me kinda sad, and amazed because I never would have thought I'd ever say something like that.
No more meth either!! LOL
I have to remove DH's surgical bandage tomorrow and it's kinda grossing me out.
The nurses at the hospital were so awesome. What food would be best to show our appreciation? Something healthy (like a fruit platter) or something sinful like danish & pastries?

Ooh, good luck with the bandage. That stuff is so gross yet fascinating.
I would get them a treat. I mean, yeah, fruit is healthier, but pastries seem like a reward. No one ever swarms a fruit bowl.
I can't wait to live somewhere that is new and clean! It also has pretty big windows. I like big windows. And the kitchen is in the front of the house, so H can see when I'm pulling up and come help me get Joanna and all our crap out of the car. I want to get some new couches when we move too.
Unrelated - I bought stuff for gin and tonics tonight and then remembered I had no ice.
Hey! Maybe the new fridge will have an icemaker!
I dream of someday having a fridge with an ice maker.
his i hope it isn't too terrible. H had to help me when I sliced the tip of my finger off and it grossed me out like crazy. He also had to help with my knee bandage. Nothing like having a hip replacement, but I think you'll be okay
What is your favorite thing about the city you live in?
Oh, lots of things. I really like it here.
Love the mountains, the climate, the number of beautiful hiking places within driving distance, the restaurants, the historic buildings, the cost of living. I also love how easy it is to get around here compared to the last place I lived.

This bandage is about 10 inches long. The bruising is very colorful. DH makes me take a picture of it every day and then makes me delete it. I assured him, no one wants to see his hairy ass crack.

That sounds so nice! I am sure you will love it.
And I love G&Ts.
A fridge without an ice maker is a deal breaker, lol.
If you could 're-do' anything in your life, would you?
Hmmm.
There are a few things I would unsay if I could, and I would have made more of an effort to spend time with my grandparents. But overall it's hard for me to want to redo anything because I love my life right now and that stuff is part of what got me here.
Maybe I would have also started working out when I was 23 instead of 33.
