Most of Evan's clothes (that we purchased ourselves) are from Gap. I like the casual look. I like Old Navy too. It'd be a different story if I had a girl.

I'm not a fan of Carter's at all.
I second this. I walk into Carters look around, go ugh, and walk next door to the Gap Outlet and go Yay!
I love some J&J girl clothes, though not all; it's the prices I primarily balk at. But I also don't really like pale pink or too many ruffles. Tea collection dresses are usually my fave, though I buy them 2nd hand.

Wait!! I'm tagged in this! Haha - Trudy! I do not HATE J&J. I think V looks adorable always. But for example yesterday. I saw the thread... Thought, oooooohhh perhaps something good! Then looked and saw nothing. I couldn't find the things you girls were talking about in the thread. I saw the sailor stuff and I didn't like it. Am I on the wrong website??
Anyway for M we do buy the dreaded Carter's apparel... Or Gymbo and Gap sometimes. Lots of stuff from Macy's.

I love GAP and Gymboree, but even that can get expensive. I never buy any of M's clothes full price (well except for Carters becuase its so cheap to begin with). They are SO young, and are growing so quickly, I just can't justify spending so much money on something that will only fit for little bit of time.
I'll save the splurging for when she is a little older and can appreciate a cute outfit.
I had to google J and J to see what it was like. I don't mind it but it is expensive for me and the shipping to Canada would be a lot, if they even do it. Most of S's clothes are: carters, old navy, gap, joe fresh. With some Children's Place thrown in there. I like him in jeans with a button up, sweater, polo, tee and hoodie. If we are having a home day he might wear sweats.

I'm not a J&J hater, but I prefer Baby Gap for boys and girls. Old Navy is a close second.
I always forget to Look at old navy for baby clothes!
Don't. Its a waste of time, I think. They used to have the CUTEST baby clothes. Think Baby Gap at half the price. Then, they changed and don't have a ton of cute baby stuff anymore. Its sooo disappointing!

I have the same issues. I'm not a fan of pastels and the dresses are just a bit too frilly. They're cute for special occasion, but I would feel a little silly taking Audrey to Gymboree in a fancy dress. I like baby gap better because the dresses are still tailored and girly, but have a casualness to them that she can wear them on a daily basis.

I'm a terrible parent and buy all of Micah's clothes off of the clearance racks at Kohls, Old Navy and Walmart (some time's I'll splurge and go full price for Walmart). And I check the clearance sections on Carter's, Gymboree and Crazy8's websites, but only if there's a coupon and free shipping. The only place my kid frequents is daycare, and there's one girl who wears footed pjs every single day. I'll work on his fashion when people actually see his outfits. I'm lying. I probably still won't care then, either.

We love Joe Fresh in this house! I bought a pair of pants for me this past week for $6.97 - maroon coloured skinnies, score!
I buy pajamas at Carters but that is about it. I also like a big man look on my little man. he has tons of button downs, sweaters, vests, cordoroys, slacks. that type of clothes. A lot of the jj stuff for boys is a little cutsie but there are some nice pieces as well. I just would never buy my kids whole wardrobe there because it all sort of looks the same. I like variety of color and options.

I buy most of Luke's clothes at Gap. I will buy carters for daycare and hanging out but they aren't my favorites. I did buy him a shirt for his one year photos from oshkosh but that's because Gap shirts aren't what I'm looking for right now.
I'm not fashionable so he isn't either. My style is very plain- jeans, solid color or stripes and layers... so is my kid's

This is pretty close to me. Only, I'd say 95% of the girls clothing comes from Old Navy. I seriously have an addiction to buying their clothes there because I always have coupons.
I will also piggy back on this thread and ask ruby412 if you found an outfit for V's party? Did you go with the poppy stuff?
No, I decided to wait. We're going to do some shopping for her on vacation. If I don't find anything there, we'll hit KoP when we get back and check out J&J, Baby Gap, Bloomies, etc.
Did I miss what your little lady is wearing?? Tell me again if so!

I don't hate J and J, in fact Jake is wearing J and J right now, but it is a hand me down onesie we got for free. I like almost all of Carter's stuff. I know I am in the minority here. I'll put Jake in a cute onesie with a Dino and a cute saying and some matching comfy pants and call it a day.
