That's great Scotty. A friend at work has lupus, and it took years for her to be diagnosed. I saw how frustrating it was for her. I'm glad you're feeling better, and that you'll know how to mazimize your health in the future.
Here I thought I hated church, and really it was probably gluten rage from communion. I thought I hated my parents, probably gluten rage from Pillsbury crescent rolls on Tuesdays and Thursday pizza nights.
It's all coming together.
It's amazing how different you can feel once it's out of your system. All of a sudden it was like the fog lifted. Crazy! Good luck on your journey.
Now that I'm done joking, I really am glad to hear this.
I'm always interested in this stuff from a science perspective since I used to study mucosal immunity. These types of allergies really are debilitating for those who suffer from them; mostly because they cause so many other seemingly unrelated symptoms.
I am so glad you're getting some answers and found a doctor who makes you feel sane. Hopefully together you'll be able to find the way for you to live a normal, healthy life. I am happy for you!

That is so great!! I struggle with nerve pain due to TMJ and a herniated disc in my lower back. I remember being so depressed before I finally had an MRI. After they found the herniated disc that was pressing on my nerve, it was such a relief. I hate when people treat you like a crazy person for having this "phantom" pain. I'm so happy for you to have some validation.

omg- I hope you can start feeling great!! I am so wary of seeing doctors any more, because I feel like more and more people are coming away with no answers or relief... I like you. feel better soon!
I am mostly a lurker but I wanted to wish you luck! I was diagnosed with celiac disease about a year ago. It's a tough road sometimes but stick with it and you feel better!

Thanks guys. Truly.
edith, I like you a lot and wish you came around more, but I am glad that you are living life. I totally agree on the people are coming away with no answers, or weird answers, etc. Medicine is complicated and young.
I don't want to suggest that I don't see doctors- lol! I just don't go into any appointments feeling optimistic..I miss you!

LOL! Have you seen that commercial where the lady says "all this time I thought I hated the laughter of children. Turns out I was just hungry." Heh.
I have a friend who had some chronic pain issues of a different sort and she said that she didn't truly appreciate how much chronic pain affected her entire outlook on life until they finally figured out what was wrong and it went away. It's crazy. I hope this will fix things up for you right quick, lady. My niece has celiac sprue and she's kicking ass and taking names and making sure her GF toast doesn't share the same toaster as the wheat.
