another renting question....i keep running across this verbiage in the contracts we are finding... 11. LOCKOUT. If Tenant becomes locked out of the Premises, Tenant will be charged $XXX.00 to regain entry.
what exactly does this mean? am i, landlord, coming to unlock the renters? what do you guys think is reasonable? h thinks something along the lines of $25...i think $100, because we'd have to go out of our way to go unlock the door for them...when they should not have lost their keys, and/or they can call a locksmith to get in. what do you guys think?
