I think DH wants to go to Colorado in September/October. He's turning 30 in June so this is his trip. Next year when I turn 30 we are going to Kentucky......I'm a horse nut!
H and I are flying into Seattle and road tripping down the coast to San Francisco at the end of May. 9 whole days away! We didn't get a honeymoon so this is our one year late honeymoon. H and I have NEVER been on vacation together. I am so excited.
We were just in Jamaica last week, and compared to our trip to Rome in February, I told H that Rome was a great trip, but Jamaica was a great vacation. We haven't gone somewhere to relax on a beach since our honeymoon in 2004. It was wonderful.
Next up are two vacations with the girls: Disney World in May and Germany in July. Those are both Ironman-related trips, which have been the basis of the majority of our vacations for the past six years. Not that I'm complaining; H's racing schedule has taken us to some great places.
Obviously we're trying to get our fill before the new baby comes!
ProfessorArtNerd, Emily has been begging us to go to Philadelphia for vacation. lol.

We did this from San Fran to Seattle a few years ago! One of our best trips, lots of hiking and sight seeing. You will have a great time!
Our vacation... DH wants to go to Ocean City, MD before the baby arrives in July. But I think he would prefer to go before school gets out so there won't be too many crazy teenagers. I think I like this idea as I won't be bigger than a whale, but I want the water to be warm enough for DS to swim!
Hopefully I'll be able to get to the midwest while on maternity leave. My grandma in ND has not yet met DS. Not necessarily a vacation, but it would be great to see a lot of old friends and family!
Driving to Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri for H's family reunion in July. But I'm really looking forward to going to Vegas for my birthday in Sept with H, my BFF, and her BF.
We're going to an all inclusive in Punta Cana for a week in September. It will be our first REAL vacation since our honeymoon. We've gone on quick trips to Boston and Burlington and some camping trips, but not an honest to goodness vacation in over three year.s

July we are going to Napa with one of my bffs and her boyfriend to run a 1/2 marathon. They recently moved to Tx so it will be a fantastic time away.
In december, we are going to Puerto Rico for a late anniversary trip. We were supposed to go in 2012 for our 10 year anniversary, but I got knocked up instead. And our anniversary is in October, but we are hoping to move into our new house around July/August so we figured we would give ourselves a few months to get settled before leaving the girls for a week.

Oh God, please come save me! I'll be at the top of City Hall, picking off pedestrians from Billy Penn's hat after spending 10 freaking days with DHs family!
Lucy's big dream is to go to Kansas to visit them. Aim high, babycakes
We don't have anything planned and it makes me sad sad sad
We'll spend a week at my family's cabin over the 4th of July.
I am tentatively planning a girls' (long) weekend in Chicago but that's not for sure.
SIL still might be having a DW somewhere, at some point this year. I wish she'd make up her damn mind. I think I could talk H into a vacation if we weren't maybe possibly tentatively saving vacation time and money for her wedding!
nicanmatt I'm glad you had a good time! Any advice on what not to miss/what to miss? We're going to go from Seattle to Portland and then cut over to the PCH and take that down to San Francisco.
I did San Diego to San Francisco when I was in college and it was so much fun. We didn't see much of San Francisco so I'm excited to go back.
H and I are trying to save to buy a house by the end of the year so no fun money to play with right now. I want to take the kids to Disney World and I want to plan a vacation for just H and I. We have never been away for longer than a weekend just the two of us, not even a honeymoon, and I WANT one.
We will spend a few days here and there at the Jersey shore this summer. And we're going to NYC for a weekend at the end of this month. But that's it.
Unfortunately, no huge trips for us this year since we're spending most of our money on the house and our dog.
We are getting away for about 5 days in August to drive down to the Smoky Mountains (9 hour drive). We're staying in a secluded cabin up in the mountains, enjoying the hot tub, going for hikes and just being out in nature, getting away from it all. It isn't a huge vacation, but I'm really looking forward to it.
