OK this just made me feel a lot better about the $1200 wood play set we saved up for and bought recently. I've been having sticker shock from that. What the hell is this? It's like they carved out a chunk of Fantasyland at Disney World and had it installed in their backyard. Good grief.

Okay, so I love this tree house and totally want to live there. But my kids? Eh, it's not made out of legos and has no cars strewn about the floor. It's totally gorgeous and really cool, but kids are little bastards who will be all "wow! cool!" and then go dig a hole in the mud with plastic spoons instead of curling up with classic Winnie the Pooh in the reading nook.
