I thought it was really well written and moving but I feel unsettled by the ending. I get that the author wanted to underscore the point that ultimately the choice to continue living or not was solely Will's to make and that living in the chair wasn't enough for him...but I also think that getting close to Louisa and then making that decision was kind of selfish. I'm not sure how else the author could have ended it in a way that would have felt realistic but really, really wanted him to choose life I'm kind of bummed out right now, lol.
I just finished it! I think it couldn't have ended any other way. He would not have been happy, even with love, and he loved Louisa enough to want her to do more with her life. I really liked this book.
