I hide folks like that from my news feed. I delete the ones who are over the top ridiculous (Obama's reelection = the end of times) or spews BS in comments constantly. I have a ton of people hidden from my feed, so my threshold for BS is pretty low.
Nah I'm not truly asking for an answer. I just think the chick in the picture looks like someone I'd want to hang out with and I don't want someone picking on her. I have very little of this stuff left on my news feed after the election and when I see it I scratch my head and think twice about why am I "friends" with this person.

Its a well known and old meme and its a guy in the picture, not a girl.

I was just thinking that the chick looks kinda like Screech.
Pictures from other angles were put on reddit a while ago from someone who knows him.
Huh. Well I'd still rather hang out with this guy meme than the YOLO meathead type who posted it. But I guess he's pretty harmless. My threshold is becoming non existent these days though, I'm getting old.
This morning I unfriended a guy that posted a youtube link that "proves" the Boston bombings were actually done by the government.
Last night I unfriended a girl that posted 2 pictures of the prinicipal of Newtown that looked like screen shots from the news. One picture had the caption explaining she was killed in Newtown and the other picture said she was injured in the bombing. Her comment was "Houston, we have a problem."
Scary thing is both are active members of a church (different churches though.) One a youth leader and other an associate pastor.
I hung with that crowd in community college a little. We had a wilderness recreation leadership major and there were lots of friendly patchouli hippies that were nice to me even though i wasn't really one of them. I liked them and I respected them and they were fun to party and chill with and take philosophy and writing and astronomy classes with. At the end of the day, no, I wouldn't do well in their crowd. Or any specific crowd. I need lots of different perspectives. I just have a hard time with the perspective of the person who posted the pic. Yes, I get it. It's a joke. It's kinda even funny. It's really nbd. But here's another pic from his page a few days ago, which in and of itself isn't even that bad, it's just I'm annoyed that the pro life guy is also anti gun control guy. It's so predictable. Ultimately when I leave my job in a couple months I'll never see him again, nor will he give me a second thought. For today I'm just bored and annoyed that the bill didn't pass so I thought I'd share.
You're totally right. I'm just letting him get to me today because I'm annoyed, and even though he's made stupid comments about how we need to impeach this president and how he can't stand that he has to pay for insurance and copays whe others get the same treatment for free, he's not really even an asshole. You know the saying. If everyone around you is an asshole then look at yourself. That might be me today. I just want to turn on my tv or Facebook and not be sad at the world and annoyed at politics.
It is. Although, I feel like less people will fight to keep weaponry in their home (which they can't smoke away, if that makes sense. or throw down the toilet. or out the window.)
Now the mental image of someone throwing their rifle out of the passenger side of their car during a traffic stop is giving me the giggles.
Yea, this is what I was thinking, too. I also don't get the whole unfriending because you don't agree on things. If the person s terribly offensive, then go for it, but what your friend posted is so not extreme.
I would just choose to "hide it" unless it is someone that generally gets on my nerves, then I would take them off of my Facebook completely. Like those people who like to post pics of sick children and animals, no thank you!
