I have a friend who was telling me recently that she is really struggling with her sports bras and I knew that the ladies here had some good recs but couldn't remember the exact brands.
She is wearing two bras, having a lot of trouble with chaffing etc...kind of the normal stuff.
I recommended Body Glide first but would love to recommend for her the best sports bra out there!
I have a MC (Moving Comfort) Fiona and just got a MC Juno. I also have a Tata Tamer coming TODAY!!! I haven't quite broken in the Juno but it is more flattering than the Fiona, but the Fiona is less constricting at this point. Both really hold me in and there is no bounce whatsoever.
Thanks for posting this, I am dying for some new sports bras. I've lost some weight and my previous favorites (nike pro victory) just aren't working for me anymore. I am one of the "small frame, big boobs" ladies (32D) but hate the moving comfort bras. The adjustable straps hit right at my clavicle and are SO uncomfortable. I'll give the ta-ta tamer a try and see what happens!

Thank you for all the suggestions, I'll just give them ALL to her and she can start from there with a good list. I knew about the ta-ta tamer but didn't know if people liked it so I didn't want to throw that out there haha.

I am a DD/DDD and the Tatatamer does NOT work for me for running at all...too much bounce!

I'll add that she has done a couple sprint triathlons, does spin regularly, and is doing couch to 5K as her activities.
I really appreciate all your feedback for her! Chaffing sucks and I know I would HATE wearing two sports bras...I was kind of shocked when she told me that--I thought we were moving past those days :/

I had the same issues with the moving comfort: juno was supportive enough but chafed me like woah, and fiona: well, it continues to baffle me that people love this bra so much because I don't find it supportive at all.
so basically, try the cw-x xtra support. someone's got to listen to me eventually and it sounds like you're at the same place with MC as I am!

I like the Moving Comfort Fiona, but the straps look a little weird if I wear it with a tank where they show. I had to go a cup size smaller in the Fiona to get enough support. I am really liking my Goddess sports bra. I bought it off Amazon and it was significantly cheaper ($28) than Enell or Moving Comfort.

Enell here too. I think it depends on how big busted she is. I think the MC bras work best for DD and under or the small frame big boob. But for just ginormous tatas (like me) they have just got to be strapped down with about duct tape. Enell is the only truly no bounce once I've found.

This, I'm a DD and wear a D. I will cross the straps if I'm wearing a racer back tank.
so far i love my moving comfort jubralie, I also got one from VS (the standout)that is making me pretty happy and ordered the tata tamer 2 from lululemon to see if I like it. and i'm a 34D

Does the CW-X fit true to size? I would rather just order from amazon or somewhere, but will try and find it somewhere to try on if I have to. Most stores generally don't have my size in stock though

Some of the amazon reviewers say to go down a cup size, but I've found them true to size. I'm a 32DDD/34DD depending on what I'm weighing in at and the 34DD works for me at either size.
I'm sad I can't join in on the enell club--I bought one and hated it.
I'm Meh about the MC Fiona (although I'm intrigued by crossing the straps)--I have to wear a liner bra underneath to prevent chafing. I like the Juno.
I bought a Lillyette sports bra once at tjmaxx, and it is the best bra I've ever owned. I can't fin another one anywhere!!!
was the enell too bouncy or too uncomfortable?
Both, i guess. It was a combo of the straps being too long and the side not being cut low enough (shorten the straps, it started to cut under my arm, lengthen the straps, too much bounce). I couldn't find them locally, so I gave up after returning 3 different sizes by mail.
