Breathe. My doctor said vomiting from the prep is common. I was instructed to give myself a bit of a break and then slow down as I finished the rest if this happened. If you feel like you are going to vomit again, stop drinking. The goal is to have as much in your system as you can so drinking to vomit again is counterproductive.
Did you eat light the day or so before you started? I was mostly cleaned out from the first dose because I scaled back my food intake by about 1/2 the day before and drank juice to replace those calories. And no food the day of prep. This might not even be an issue. Call your doc if you are nervous though.
also I think they just over prescribe some of these amounts to be safe. I couldn't finish half of the barium in the ER for my CT and they still saw everything they needed to see.
If you aren't cleared out tomorrow they will give you an enema.
Also the water is to keep you hydrated so it's definitely important but don't force yourself to vomit because of it. Slowly sip what you can until you go to sleep.
Definitely call to see if you need to reschedule. I wasn't able to keep down any of my prep (but my issue was gastroparesis, so I wasn't keeping anything down... for months), and the doctor told me that regardless of how little you'd eaten that day, there was stilll lots of poop that clings to the crevaces in your intestines. And the prep helps get that all flushed out.
Awww, I'm sorry Carrots. That stuff made me gag and sick to my stomach, too. I got to the point that my stomach felt so full and bloated of that stuff, and the consistency of the liquid was really getting to me, and I knew that I couldn't drink another drop without hurling. I probably drank about 3/4 of what I was supposed to, and I just knew that the poor doctor was going to be looking at my shit with a scope the next day. I didn't say anything about it and just hoped it would be okay. When I woke up after the procedure, the doctor told me I did a great job with the prep. LOLOL.

I was freezing & nauseous from the prep too. I remember sitting in the bathroom in sweats & a blanket almost in tears because I had to drink it for another hour. (My directions were X ounces every 10-15 minutes until it was gone. I was gagging at the end.)
This sounds awful I hope that since your procedure is being rescheduled, that means you'll feel better soon and find a different method next time that isn't so horrible!

Oh that sucks. What was the prep? I ended up with clearlax, dulcolax, gaterade combo for prep. It wasn't fin, but it wasn't $40 and I didn't puke until the second to last dose of 8oz every 15 minutes until gone.

I was going to suggest--if your doctor says you have to reschedule--that you ask to do the Miralax prep instead. With the exception of drinking the 10oz bottle of magnesium citrate, the Miralax prep goes down a whole lot easier than that prepared shit they're making you drink.
