We left her with my MIL so we could go to costco and when we came back she was crying (poor baby) and she reached up for me and said "mama"...!
And then in the car on the way home, she was again hysterically crying because she hates the car, and she looked right at me with pathetic eyes and said it again.

I'd say that counts! I knew Zoe knew what "mama" meant when she would be upset, going "mamamamama" in the most pathetic voice when she wanted to be held.

Also it is totally normal for them to go back and forth using the same word with intent and for babbling. Sometimes Mama means me and other times it just means she wants something.
Trudy, how are things going with your new EI guy? Any improvement?
No, he's a wackadoo. We have to give him 4 weeks before we request a new guy. Luckily we have our awesome private PT and my H works from home on Thursdays to see the wackyman.

ugh, what a pain. Our girl is like 12. I find it irritating. She doesn't know any more than I do. My degree is in development but I really want someone with years of experience that can fill in where I can't. I need to give her more time but I am getting frustrated. I know everyone needs to start somewhere but my patience is wearing thin.
Babies are so funny with word association -- DH apparently was telling G knock knock jokes, knocking on his head. So now any time she hears a knock, she taps her head.

Is he still beat up looking and using a clicker??
Basically. He's obsessed with being quiet and not overwhelming her with sensory stuff but I overwhelm her senses all day and she's perfectly happy with it! Oh man, this guy is nuts. I didn't even stay for it this week, I got a manicure instead haha. Mother of the year? I just let my H deal with the crazy.
