Mama, followed by uh-oh. His current favorite word is Dad. He is my parrot, and is saying a lot. Duck, doggie, quack, touch, what, more, puff, love, water, balloon, towel, bear, drink, are the words he says with meaning. Like he points to it and says the word or we ask him where -blank- is and he gets it. He talks a lot of gibberish and I usually tend to agree with him.
No clue. I'm not sure if he has any words yet. He has his own language for sure and chatters away all day. He might say "ada" to mean H. And might say "shuz" to say Suzie the Dog. Maybe.
See, some of these I wouldn't even know if J was saying. It just sounds like babbling to me unless it's phonetically correct. I'm going to be a tough mom to impress.
Umm yeah me too. She says things to certain objects but unless its ball and not ba I'm like whatever she didn't say it.
Her first was dada, she actually pointed at DH and said it. Next was uh oh, and then hi. She says mama but I don't know if she means it or not. Usually it's ma maaaaaa when she's upset.

Same here. He could be saying dog and ball and stuff but I just dont hear it because it would be strung in with a lot of other babbles. Maybe I'll pay attention more today.
Mama. He started saying it really young, or it seemed really young to me at 5 months. He says a few things, but it is like he forgets he can say them sometimes. Besides mama, dada, baba sort if words, he said Mac (our dog) and he started saying ball and nap. He sucks at doing it on command but he does itching things in command well, like a fake sneeze, cough, panting like a dog sort of thing.

I can see why you'd say certain words aren't words until they're really saying them 100%, but some words are just hard for her to say because she doesn't have the sounds yet. She's definitely trying to say a specific word and using it for the proper thing.
