I am really upset right now you guys. Thank you for making me get her an appointment. Jesus, my heart hurts. She is going back for x-rays to determine where things stand. I feel panicky.
I'm so sorry. I've had this for pets before and it's so hard Best advice I have is when they give you options, ask your vet what they would do if it was their pet. I've always had good vets who were very honest even though it was (at times) hard for me to hear. However, in the long run it made it better for me to know that I was making a decision that was best for my pet and their quality of life.
My cat was diagnosed with cancer and given 3-6 months to live. It's been almost a year and we just had x-rays that showed it hasn't spread. Hang in there and just make sure you giver her lots of love and all the tuna she wants.
I'm so sorry, River. I hope this is something treatable. I lost one of my babies to cancer last September, and it was really hard. So many ((hugs)) for you.
Thanks you guys. This hit me like a ton of bricks when my vet said "she has a large softball shaped mass" This will be the second pet we've had with cancer. I'm mad, sad and scared.
apalettepassion.wordpress.com/ WHO IS BONQUIQUI!?!?!?!??!
"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
But, hey, cville has Catballs, who is like the Magic Johnson of cats. Catballs keeps on ticking, even though she was given months after a cancer diagnosis several years ago.
So. I am hoping your cat is another Magic Johnson.

I'm so very sorry. I just lost my cat to cancer on Friday. She had a large tumor in her mouth so she went pretty fast.
I totally agree with the poster that said you should ask what your vet would do with their own pet. My vet has been amazing through this whole process. At parts I thought maybe too blunt but it really helped us along. I hope you get more positive news after the x-rays.
I am so sorry. I had a boxer diagnosed with cancer last year and passed away shortly after. It's devastating. Sending you big hugs, hopefully you will have some more time with your kitty.
