The reason I ran a 5k, the reason I started going to the gym, the reason I started eating right/meal planning, is because my husband was picked to do a Biggest Loser competition through a local gym. He kick started all those changes, and I went along with them to help support him. Tonight was the awards ceremony for the competition. HE WON! He lost 47.5 lbs and 11.2% of body fat. His prize is a year complete membership to the gym. No backsliding for us. I'm just bursting with pride for him.
