I had a client ask me this the other day. She said she packs for her husband. My H packs for himself, I sometimes will tell him to bring a certain shirt or something, but otherwise he does it. My mom packs for my dad. I think it's funny that he has no idea what he is wearing until they get there.

I totally pack for my H. It's not that he can't. He just waits until the last minute, which drives me crazy, so I end up doing it because it stresses me out.

Yea. He waits until the last minute but he knows what he is wearing since I leave his shirts hung up per his request. We only fold and pack his shirts if we're flying and that's rare. We drive almost everywhere.
I would feel weird picking out the clothes my H was going to wear on a trip. Like...you dress your kid, not your H. It would be disastrous if I packed for him because I'd probably overpack the way I do for myself. And his clothes are BIGGER!
Only if he's super crunched for time and I have more time to do it than he does.
Fun story: early in my parents' marriage, they went to a family reunion, which was several days at a campground. When they got there, my dad discovered that he had no clothes or toiletries, because he assumed that my mother had packed for him. Which she had not, because it never occurred to her that a grown man needed someone to pack for him. LOL.
Nope. I don't even know where I would start if I had to pack for him. He takes care of his own stuff, I take care of mine. I do have to put a time limit on his packing or else he ends up doing it at like midnight when I'm ready for bed.
He gathers all of his stuff, but I am OCD about how everything is situated in the suitcase, so I take care of that step. I don't give a shit what he packs as long as he isn't dressed like a hobo, but all the things must fit neatly in the suitcase.

Not usually, but I do for things that it is hard to pack for, like this weekend. He left on Monday morning, he is meeting me in another town tommorow. The weather has changed a lot, so I will throw some stuff in for him to cover the changes. I am not good at anticipating what he would want to wear.
No. If I know he needs to bring anything specific I double check with him that he packed it before we walk out the door, but I don't get involved past that.

I did, because he's lazy and would only pack like 2 shirts and deodorant for a 7 day trip- and then he would wear those 3 shirts and 1 pair of pants multiple times. Grossed me out.
