I generally dont like ombre hair but yours looks really nice....I think subtle makes the difference for me. Black roots and blond at the bottom is what gets me.

its cute but i dont understand the ombre tend.. i mean i can do that by growing out my roots without paying a salon to do it.

Ok this is the thing and I'm sorry for the deception:

I am so happy my hair looks good and thank you for your compliments. However. I did nothing to it. This was a color I had in my hair that was barely a shade lighter. As it grew it started getting lighter.

I guess I was trying to make a point. And I look fashionable doing it. Haha!

Ha! I thought to myself that it looked like you were growing roots out, but I didn't see any good from sharing that thought. I left a hairstylist who was badgering me to do ombre this summer. She always wanted to go trendier/edgier than I really am.

This is what I was going to say but didn't want to be rude. 

I only think "ombre" when it's on longer hair, too. Ombre really only works without as many layers as you have. The lighter pieces at the bottom of some of your hair are higher up than they should be for the ombre look. Does that make sense?

I saw this last night and with all the positive comments I thought maybe I just didn't understand ombré hair and didn't want to look like an ass. I would have to see it in person but I really think it looks like you are just growing out your roots.

I don't usually like it. To me it always looks as though you're growing your hair out or worse- got sent to prison and have no access to your stylist and her chemicals. Irrational, I know.
