No. But I was wondering about this too. I love them but I feel I might look silly because of the shortness. And I don't wear heels so I'd be wearing with a flat sandal.
My friend wears maxi skirts/dresses and looks fab but then she's like 5'9
And obviously @tambcat would look good in a burlap sack
Get that color! That would look lovely on you? Or the blue. Not navy. If it were me I'd get that red color. It's still muted but it's not "navy" Unsurprisingly it looks fabulous on that probably 6 foot tall model

I am just under 5' and I avoid them. I have to get a good foot hemmed off of the bottom so I feel they look a little silly. I wish I could rock them. There are so many that I love!

I bought it in navy. In case anyone is interested, not only does Jcrew have 20% off dresses today but the code BLOOM will get you another 20% off on top of that. Score!!

Whoa! My wallet resents you already. There's a tiny chip off the ol' house payment!
I'm not short but I think short people can absolutely wear maxis! The key is to buy/wear dresses that are tailored/accentuate your shape and not huge billowy styles. The company I used to work for is known for our boho beach style and we sold tons and tons of maxis- I'm a huge fan, but again, I'm no peanut.
when i was in gap on the weekend they had like 30 styles. I think I might want to try a few this summer but I hate spending an additional $20 to get things hemmed. They do look easy and comfortable though.
