I want to cry every time I look at it. How in the motherfucking hell does this happen?!?
ETA- Annie, I'm sure you're right. But how do you not test out the shoes beforehand?
this has happened to me before even with shoes that fit and i've worn a good bit. when you're inside walking around on level ground they are fine. but throw in lots of walking, standing, shifting weight, swelling, and sweating, toes can escape.
My point isn't that she sat there and plotted this in advance. I just think it's very odd that she's wearing a shorter dress like that and didn't think to fix the shoes for the red carpet photocall.
I really did think that she had an extra toe, though.

she probably cannot even feel her toes in those shoes, she may have no idea something is amiss.
It just makes me feel worse for her as surely she easily could have demanded someone send her another pair and she just wore them without making a fuss.
That makes MY feet hurt. I wonder why she didn't even try to hide that. Unless she didn't know/couldn't feel those toes escaping. But...how could you not?! I don't get this, at all. All the money in the damn world and can't buy shoes that fit?
I wonder how many of these stars do a trial run of their complete outfits before they go to awards shows and events?
All of them. Designers send over multiple outfits and they try them all on (usually shoes are sent with) and pick which one they like.
I learned that the hard way after I went to my friends' wedding and wore a new dress, then had to wrap my shawl around my upper body all night because my boobs were falling out.

OMG! my toes hurt just looking at that! If this was done for attention, I think I would prefer to walk around with my tits flopping in the breeze than do that to my poor innocent baby toe.
