Update: my dad is in the hospital :(

I just got a call from my mom. My dad has been admitted to the hospital. They don't know what is wrong with him, but if his "levels" don't improve by morning they will be doing surgery. There is something wrong with either his appendix or his colon, and it is causing him to be in pretty bad pain and have a high fever.....for a few days! Seriously, my dad waited days to go in. Uuugh. 


Update: he is home and on antibiotics. Thanks for the well wishes everyone. He has a pretty nasty infection but all is good. My mom gave me terrible information. The possible surgery would have been a simple appendectomy had his appendix burst because they thought it might have been that.

And to make things worse, dh is at school until 10 pm and Jake is already asleep. It is just the pup and me right now.

Thanks. No they are not. They live in middle of nowhere Nevada. It is an 11 hour drive from where I am or an all day fiasco of flying that consists of flying to different airports and then either renting a car or getting on a 12 seater plane. 

If the zombie apocalypse were to ever really happen, I am pretty sure my parents would be safe!

Oh man that's terrible. I hope he gets some Anderson tomorrow and begins to feel better ASAP.
