papie I hope you had a good run! And I REALLY hope Anna doesn't have strep. Our Saturdays are always insane, so a sick kid would definitely throw a wrench in everything. I'm sitting down for the first time all day, catching up on emails and the newspapers and DH is working on a pitch for a new deal.
The kids have taken it upon themselves to move into our bed, and are now in there, chatting away. A few minutes ago, DS called me from the top of the stairs and told me that DD told him that if he went down the stairs, Daddy said he could have an ice cream. LOL, she's such a little jerk.
Thanks. She does. And my run was awful. lol
So no swimming lessons tomorrow. And she had a birthday party in the afternoon, which we are not attending. And we had to cancel our dinner with friends tomorrow night. FUN.
At least she will be better by Sunday and we can go visit my parents. Hopefully nobody else catches it.

I'm so exhausted. We just get everything set up in our garage for the garage sale tomorrow (have to move stuff out to the front yard in the morning). I have to be up tomorrow to take my car in at 7 then rush home and put stuff out for the sale starting at 8. Right now it is torrentially downpouring and I am crossing my fingers we have dry weather tomorrow and make some money.
I spent all day at the spa and then going to dinner. I am now about to eat chocolate cake. Why, you might ask? Because I have an 18 MILE RUN tomorrow. Fuck you marathon. I mean, the guilt free cake is nice but still. FUCK YOU LONG TRAINING RUN. I am also exceedingly well hydrated.

Where did you go for dinner? Where/when is the marathon?
Dinner at Pebble Beach. Sam Diego RnR marathon, June 2.

Oh no, what a bummer. That sucks. Esp. about the run. I hope she's feeling better soon. Lots of TV on tap for your kids today!
