Not really close with them; I speak to about 2 from my Dad's side and 1 from my Mom's side.
On my Mom's side, my Aunt's 2 youngest - we used to be really close.
ETA: I lied, I have 4 more half cousins on my Mom's side but I've never met them. They were in their 20's and 30's when I was a kid. They are all in their late 40's to mid 50's now.

dad's side: 1 step cousin i've met once, 1 cousin i've never met
mom's side: 3
i don't speak to any of them. never had a good relationship with them - one was sort of always missing because her parents were divorced, and the other one is a seriously bizarre person and we just never got along well. we don't speak at all now.

I have twenty-six first cousins: fifteen on my dad's side, eleven on my mom's. All but two live in the same metropolitan area, ten of us grew up in the same town, and six of us went to the same school at the same time. Our moms raised us in a tribe, more or less.
I am very close with a couple of cousins who are around my age, and friendly with the rest. We kind of have to be, since, when I'm in my hometown, I'll run into, like, 4 of my aunts and uncles at the store or at a restaurant, lol. I'm lucky they're all cool!
I'm closer with some than others. 8 of my cousins are on my mom's side and we celebrated lots of holidays together. Most of them are close in age with me. We don't keep in touch as much as I'd like but I can still confide in 3 of my cousins and we can go for long periods of time without talking yet pick right back up where we left off. The other 5 it's a little more awkward and I can't say I know them as well as I used to.
2 cousins are on my dad's side and I've never been close with them. the end.
I have 8 first cousins on my mom's side (not in contact with my dad's family). My oldest cousin is three years younger than me, and we used to be close . Like, sleepovers every weekend. But he got into drugs and stealing in middle school. He's been in and out of jail and has had a rough life. I still see him on holidays, but we aren't close anymore.
I was the baby of my family and was much younger than the cousins on my father's side. The cousin on my mother's side did not live close to us so we rarely saw each other. Now as adults I've only spoken to one recently and we are friends on FB.

6 on my mom's side, 7 on my dad's side
I'm close to most on my mom's side (one in particular, who has a dd just a few months older than dd 1), and really not any on my dad's side. I did recently reconnect with one of them and dd 1 was the flowergirl in her wedding, so that was fun.
I have 14 on my mom's side and 11 (now 10) on my dad's side.
We were close as kids and are still close now. I am friends with the older ones and more like a babysitter (literally, in most cases) to the younger ones. My older daughter plays really well with my youngest cousin since they are only a couple months apart. Most of our families all live close by or within a two-hour drive at the most, aside from one cousin who lives across the country.
H only has one cousin on his mom's side and two on his dad's side, poor guy.
28 first cousins on my moms side. 7 on my dads side. I don't see my dad's side of the family often so no we are not close... there is one cousin on my dads side that Ive never even met. I'm closer with my mom's side of the family... we don't see each other often bc they live on the east coast and we are in the midwest, but we try to stay in touch.
apalettepassion.wordpress.com/ WHO IS BONQUIQUI!?!?!?!??!
"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
Mom's side - 1 cousin (my mom is the oldest of 4, but only 1 brother ever married or had kids). She's about 6 years older than me. We're close-ish, but not bff.
Dad's side - Technically 6 cousins, but one of them is much much older and was givwn up for adoption as a baby; he only found us a few years ago. I am very very close with 3 of my cousins on this side. We're close in age and grew up like siblings.
I have 10 cousins on my mom's side. We are all pretty close. My mom and her four siblings are super close - everyone but one moved from the Midwest to Maine over time, so we all spent a lot of time together. It was one of the reasons I left Chicago to go back to the East Coast; I felt like I was missing out every time someone would post about a big family party the others all went to.
I have 3 cousins on my dad's side, plus one who died at age 19. We are not as close because my dad doesn't have as warm a relationship with his brother and sister, although we did spend time together growing up. There's a lot of competitiveness and rivalry on that side of the family.
Dad's side: 7 I was close to a girl my age and another a year older, then we grew apart when they moved away. All of us are friendly but we don't see each other often.

Dad's side: 4. 2 are young - 11 and 13. 2 are closer to my age, we had fun as kids when we were in town and now we're facebook close, but that's about it.
Mom's side: 4. 1 we hung out a bit as kids when we were in town - never really close. 3 are 15+ years younger than me.
We never lived in the same town as cousins, so never got really close.
I'm really only super close with one of them. We all grew up on opposite sides of the country, so I never got to really know most of them. Fortunately, it's worked out that I now live only an hour or 2 from the two that I'm closest to, so that's nice.
Mom's side: 6... it use to be 7 but one cousin died of an overdose in 2004.
Also, all but 3 are married so I have 9 cousin-in-laws. Plus I have 3 half cousins. Two I've never met and one I've met maybe 3 times.
As kids I was close(ish) with my dad's side. As an adult we chat and hang out at family gatherings and we're FB friends but that's it.
H has 4 cousins total I think. When I met one of them a few years ago she didn't know how H and she were related. For reals she asked him what their relation was since they have the same grandparents. She was close to 12 at the time. I just blinked at her. H's family aren't close on either side though.

35 first cousins, over 80 total. I'd have to sit down and think about who belongs on each side though...my family tree is a little looped. DH refers to some of my cousins as "double blood kin."

Moms side: 3
Dad's side: 13
I'm not particularly close with any of them. We spent a lot of time together as kid's but I've been away from home for 7 years and that's contributed to not being close with them now. I love seeing them and getting together with them, but I wouldn't say I have a close relationship with any of them.
10 on Dad's side, thought I only keep up with his brother's 4 kids. 5 on Mum's side. They live in the US, we see them 1x per year, but I am on FB & Instagram with the [3] teens often.
I have 8. 4 on each side. I rarely hear from those on mom's side, but Facebook (and the fact they live in state) keeps me in contact with the cousins on dad's side. This is one instance where Facebook is awesome.
My father is on of XX (many), 3 or 4 are actually younger than me.. ( adoption + I was an oops)... So I am the oldest grandchild and many many more are to come..as of right now I 'only' have 11 first cousins and that number should keep growing
I have 4 first cousins on my moms side. Not close with any of them. I used to be close to 2 of them when I was a kid though. I have 2 first cousins on my dads side and I see them maybe once a year lol.
I'm close to my cousins who live nearby, we see each other often and their mom is my mom's sister, and they're close. But my cousins range in age from 25 to 2 months, and live all over the country, so it's hard to be close really. Also family relationships are complicated - my parents' relationships with they're siblings obviously impact this stuff.
