Sending all you ladies a very strong cocktail laced with ambien that may or may not transfer in small doses to your breastmilk. MAJOR HUGS to all of you!
This is easy for me to say because my baby usually sleeps BUT at times when I'm exhausted or the crankiness is off the charts I just think of how many people would give anything to be in my shoes. But even if that is true... I hope all these babies learn to love sleeping very, very soon!
Thanks! I do the same thing by thinking of those less fortunate than me. Except I remember people with sick kids because that's about the only thing worse than non-sleeping kids!! At least I have a healthy baby!!!
I miss sleep so much. She's waking, on average 2-4 times a night. Recently she's up for 1+ hours at least once a night which sucks when H is working a 24. He usually goes to soothe first but the past two weeks she's become hysterical for him and cries ma or milk I don't know what we will do but I know I'm sick of being a sleep deprived zombie!
Our 3 year old wakes up multiple times at night as well so I am introducing a bribe and prize positive behavior reward system. Husband and bought some things for her as well as I made some coupons and wrapped them up and put them in an awesome Doc McStuffins bag. She gets to open one prize reward every night that someone does not have to go in her room.
I'm so glad to know I'm not alone either. My local mom friends all had babies STTN by 3-4 months (one at 12 weeks) and bitch horrifically if one wakes now. I'm the only moderately crunchy one, so I know they all think I ruined him that way.

I've done pretty much the same thing with both girls and it has produced dramatically different results. Co-slept with #1 for 6mos and then transitioned to the crib and it was seamless. She kept 1 nursing session until about 15mos. She wakes up in the MOTN about twice a year. #2 we bed shared for about 5 mos, then part time transitioned to co sleeping until she eventually STTN for a few weeks. Then she picked up one feeding, and then sometimes two. Then shit went off the rails at 11mos,crib transition attempt failed miserably, and its been down hill since. The only reason I'm anxious about it is because I'm traveling in a few weeks and I don't think #2 and DH are going to enjoy their nighttime bonding sessions.
