The kids are water babies, so the swim lessons will be excellent for them. I loved swimming with my friends in the summer, so this will be perfect for them.

I'm irrationally angry. I'm wood burning 100 small pendants for Burning Man. My wood burner is basically a soldering iron with interchangeable tips for different things. I REALLY want an actual wood burner and I don't have the extra money to get it. It would be approximately $160 for the burner and pen I want. I'm trying to justify the purchase with "I can make money selling the stuff I burn!" but it's just not working in my brain.

Should I peer pressure you? Get it woman! You do wonderful work and having the right tools will only make you that much better!

Maybe in a few weeks. Unfortunately having to fork out $179 for the new high chair and an additional $90 for the tray has put a sizable dent in the "hobby money" fund.
But thank you for the peer pressure and the compliment

I am in need of coffee. Badly. I had to rush through something when I got in and haven't had a chance to get some yet.
I'm paying my unemployed younger sister to come here for a week and do some things around the house. Our to do list is never ending. She needs money. Win-win. I might have my mom come to and sew some curtains and pillows since she's still job hunting too.

We're having some issues finding someone to watch PF while we're gone in August. My ILs would do it but there are some MAJOR issues there and I am not comfortable with her there for an entire week. My mom will probably end up doing it except that she works that week so she has to find out if one of her friend's can watch PF during the days she works. All of our other options are unable to commit right now.
We might hit the drive-in again this weekend, they're showing man of steel as their first feature and following it up with the great gatsby--so we'll probably go, see man of steel and then leave.
Although, I just discovered they're showing ET downtown this weekend so maybe we'll go to that?
I made my coffee too strong, but man it is delicious!
I think I am going to buy a french press because I lurrrvvve me some strong coffee!
My random is more of a vent. Apparently, I've been stressing my knees too much between the stepmill, lifting and running. They are now inflammed and angry at me. I know I have to take it easy but I'm sick of being injured, dammit!

Drive-ins are so fun! I'm staring hard at my phone trying to will it to ring for a job offer.
Got a call yestrrday from a rep of a company I interviewed with last month but didn't get the position. I have an interview with them on weds for another hr job! The hiccup with this position is that its almost a 40 minute commute one way fro m where I live now. Yikes.
bullygirl979 We're in the market for a French press too. We brought a ton of amazing coffee back from British Columbia and I am NOT putting it in our little 4 cup drip that is older than time. I'm just trying to figure out what size Bodum to get.

I think I'm getting a Bodum as well but probably just a baby one. P doesn't drink coffee so there isn't a point in getting a massive one just for me. I actually went shopping to TJ Maxx and Marshalls over the weekend looking for one and neither store had them. Madness!

French presses are awesome! I had to get rid of ours because the kids got to them, but I want another one badly.
Gault, our drive-in here is awesome--two first run movies for less than the cost of one movie at a traditional theatre. Cheap food and a fun playground for the kids for before the movie.
TNT is lucky that they moved back to playing Bones after Supernatural. I don't give a shit about Major Crimes. I don't want to watch it. I want to watch Supernatural followed by Bones, damn it! That's my schedule (yes, my life has become very pathetic on maternity leave).

Target has them. I think the price on the Bodums is the same everywhere, unless maybe BB&B with a coupon? I have been hunting for little while espresso cups lately and have been disappointed by Home Goods, etc.

I watched a lot of Bones and HIMYM on maternity leave. At first I was resistant to watching tv all day, and would make myself wait until like 4pm. Well, that was stupid. So I just embraced it. I love Bones. I fricking love David Boreanz.

bullygirl979, motzie- Ikea has a French press for around $10. It works just as well as my mini-bodum that I use daily. I got the Ikea one for when I need to make more than one cup at a time.
I have an interview today for a job that I definitely don't want, but I am doing it anyhow because I haven't interviewed in years and I could use the practice.
I slept so poorly last night and my class today got cancelled. These two things have combined to make my motivation to do anything completely non exsistant. I want a nap and coffee and for all my homework to magically do itself.

You crazy, girl! I can NOT watch plenty of tv any other time (for example: when I'm at work 8 hours a day).
