LOL, of course there will be dessert!
I have to buy new shoes, the little black plastic heel has apparently been ripped off both shoes. The stupid bricks outside of my office have ruined these shoes. Now I have to go shoe shopping this weekend *halfheartedly pouts*

I have had the tips on my heels replaced before. You might be able to save them if you really like them!

Meh, they're $20 shoes from payless. I like them but I think I need a wider heel to handle my gait and the terrain. I will hang on to them and see if I can get the caps popped back on, then turn them into "fun shoes".
I suck at accepting compliments too. They make me uncomfortable. Here at work, I try to keep my response to a minimum--so I say "thank you" or something of that nature. That way, I am not downplaying the compliment or risking upsetting the person giving me the compliment.
What should DH & I do for our date night?
a) Dinner and a movie b) A movie at the drive-in c) Dinner or drinks somewhere
I just had two severely atypical moles removed Monday. Each spot has 7-10 stitches. They hurt like a bitch and all I have is Tylenol for the pain. Now they're in the itchy but still kinda sore stage. Ones on my mid back and ones under me boob

Uh huh. Sure you did PS.
(we totally watched two teenagers get up from next to a car and DH was all "Dude get yourself out from between her legs" pearly clutchy. There was no nakedness but still).
I'm hoping for a nice dinner out where we can talk, when he's fully *with* us it's good but he's still getting "distracted". He's making an effort with the kids, but not so much with me--maybe that will change this weekend (the date night was his idea)?

dixienormous, I am just reading a random sewing blog and this post jumped out at me for PF. I would even be happy to make you some. Do you think they would be comfortable for her?

You are so nice to offer! These pads are amazing. Another friend of mine made PF a bunch of them. As they wear out (from washing and the like) I just might be calling on you for some! Thank you sooooo much!

captainmel - I'm positive that using those types of pads have prevented granulation tissue from re-forming around her tube (she got it once. we treated it and kept using the pads and haven't had a repeat). They're AWESOME

As soon as I saw that I jumped right over here because I knew PF needed some. They seem like such an obvious idea but I never would have thought of something like that. I am so glad she has some and I am so glad they help her (and you)!
