Yes, but I wasn't charged with anything. Just arrested and taken back to my campsite.
Apparently drinking, swimming on a closed beach, and then trying to hide from the police in shallow water that doesn't cover your ass....bad decisions, folks.
No. Long stupid story but I was put in a jail cell w/out being arrested for a prank I participated in. I've had cops threaten me with it many times. I had quite a wild streak for years. I hope my 4 daughters take after H though he was arrested once in college. Oh crap, I'm screwed.
I accidentally clicked yes, but I have not. There may have been a warrant for my arrest as we were past the deadline for registering our car because of a dealership screw up.
My BFF was arrested for parking tickets though when she was stopped for speeding. And another good friend was arrested because the state of CA didn't file insurance paperwork properly after his accident and he was arrested when he got pulled over for speeding in KS. His license had been revoked by CA.
Come to think of it, I know a lot of people who have been arrested. I really don't run with a rough crowd at all.

They arrest people for this? Wow.
Convict, signing in I guess.
Only certain states--my friend said Missouri does, but he is not a police officer or in any way qualified to know that, so it's possible they don't;). It would only be if you got pulled over for something else.
KS definitely does arrest for outstanding parking tickets though.
I do have a dropped misdemeanor. Stupid wild teen years. But 25 hours of community service and $800 lawyer fee later, I learned quick and was too scared to ever get into any other trouble.
No, never arrested. A policeman came to my door and told me he could arrest me for leaving the scene of an accident (where I was at fault) without giving my insurance to the other girl. In actuality other girl left the scene first and I was a stupid adult who forgot to give my insurance info. (The girl took my license plate number in front of me and that's how the police found me.)
I received a minor in possession ticket in college, and he threatened to take me "downtown" when I said I didn't have my ID with me. I was holding my friend's drink while we walked from one party to another. She bolted when the cops came. I tried to, but the guy grabbed my arm.
I did have to go to the police station once - I was pulled over for not having my updated vehicle registration sticker, and then they found I supposedly hadn't completed my emissions test. It was a big misunderstanding, the failure to complete was for a vehicle I no longer owned, and I had actually been to the DMV that same day to try and sort it out (I couldn't get my registration updated until the emissions test was cleared). They still made me leave my car, follow them to the station in my friend's car (who had been following me), and issued me something - a ticket? I can't remember. I had to go to court to clear it all up. They said if my friend hadn't been there to give me a ride to the station, they would have had to take me in in the cruiser. I guess that's about as close as I've gotten
