Those who did the blogilates bet, how much did you win? incogneato?
I think it was $44 and some change. I ended up with something like 88 dollars after GBCN and Blogilates. Then I turned around and put it down on three new bets. Why not, right? Let's hope I don't lose all my winnings. Major motivation this time!
I realllly want to do this, but I'd need to lose almost 11 pounds (yes, I am very fat). I know I could do 8 or so, but 11 seems like a lot. Hmmm...then again, even if I lose only 7 pounds, that's worth spending some money.
I think that most people would - that's my hang-up with dietbet. I could lose some weight but I'm not so overweight that losing that much weight in a short period of time is healthy.
I'm all for losing in a healthy manner. 4% in a month seems completely reasonable to me. That's 6 lbs in a month for 150 lb person. Only 1.5 lbs a month which many doctors and experts recommend. However it would NOT be healthy for any vulnerable to eating disorders.
rosiedozie I really think 1.5lbs a week (I think you meant week, not month?) is just pushing it if you're 140/150ish and maybe 5'5-5'8. Gotta say I didn't feel healthy that last week before dietbet weigh in, I just felt kind of weak and like I was overdoing it. =(

I'm in. I won the last one. $37 and some change I'll do my updated pics tomorrow I am finding this to be extremely motivating and *gasp* fun even. I do agree for a lower weight person it's harder to lose 4% I'm 137 so last time I think I started around 144 and it was tough tough trying to get those 5.5 pounds off
I don't post much, but I just signed up. I've lost about 20 pounds so far this year, but still have about 10 to go to get to my pre-second baby weight. I just spent the last 2 weeks traveling for work, then on vacation, so I need this motivation to get back on track.

I just signed up! I paid the stupid 2.95 fee, which pisses me off, but whatever.
I'm up 3lbs from when we left on our cruise 3 weeks ago (but down 2 from when we got back lol)....I'm hoping this will get me motivated again! I want to slim down a little more before we see old friends in a few weeks
