Do you still tan with sunblock?

I wear 50 and I still tan. No burning just tan. I also reapply as necessary. A few people have commented on how dark I look.

Honestly, I like being tan, but I'm trying to not make it happen because I know it's not good for me.

Yes. My daughter was very tan after last summer where her rash guard and shorts didn't cover her, and I put physical blocker, sunhat, etc. on her daily.

I do. I wear 50-70 spf and still tan. Better than the serious burn I'd have otherwise! I fry easily

No, I wear SPF 50 and reapply often and still BURN to a crisp. There is no such thing as tan in my world. My two colors are lobster red and sheet white.

Yes, I wear 70+ and still tan. DD wears a long sleeve UV rash guard when we're out in the sun and she doesn't tan through that at all, but she has diaper tan lines on her legs.

Yep. Even the baby has fat roll tan lines.

I burn to a crisp once or twice in the spring no matter what the SPF. I tan with or without suncreen.

Yes, I get tan like crazy. I look like I've been spending time at the beach/pool, but it's just from my regular outdoor activities.

Yes. I wear sunblock and still ran. In fact, I still have serious racer back ran lines on my back from my half training a last summer (even though I'm team gimpy right now and haven't done any running other physical activity outside this Spring/Summer).

yep. my oldest and youngest daughters also tan w/ 50 spf - my middle kid burns really bad if i don't reapply every 45 minutes or so.

Yep, I wear SPF50 and usually have a decent tan most of the summer.

Im not going to say i tan, im just a darker shade of pale. You cant tell ive gotten any color unless you compare to where i havent and im still shockingly white. And imwear 70 or 50 or whatever.

Yes, it frustrates me too. I have a awesome racerback tan line and another sleeveless shirt tan line that I am currently rocking.

Yes, I tan very easily with sunscreen. At least it's not a burn, I guess.

Yes my husband accuses me of humble bragging, "Oh I wear SPF 50 and I still get so tan, it sucks". But really, it does. I am no spring chicken and leather is not a good color on anyone.

ETA: Also, I don't burn, even without sunscreen. I might get a little red the first day out, but I can sit on the beach all day with nothing on and just get brown.

I tan through SPF 30 a little. I like to get some color, because if I have a little base tan I'm less likely to burn later in the summer when I inevitably miss a spot(s) with sunblock and go out for 50 miles on my bike.

I still do, and I load it on as much as I can. My son, not so much. He's got super pale skin and red hair. The closest he gets to a tan is his freckles.

Yep, I'm very pale naturally, but a do get a little tanner, even with 50 sunblock. My arms tan the most.

Yup, I wear SPF 50 and I've been running at 6 am lately. I even have had folks tell me how tan I look lately.

Yes, I definitely tan. Sometimes, if I'm not able to reapply, I eventually start to burn. I think tanning through sunscreen is normal--in fact, my understanding was that sunscreen was simply to help prevent burns, not prevent tanning all together.

Yes. After camping and fishing the last couple of weeks I've got quite a bit of color even after lathering on the SPF 50.
